Derek’s reflection on Fort Siloso Trip

18 03 2008

From this trip, I have learnt various interesting information from the trip. I have learnt that Lim Bo Seng was a real true hero because he died with his mouth close. It means that Lim Bo Seng didn’t reveal any information to the Japanese army. The information can be exchanged for his life but he didn’t risk it. He is a true hero. Sacrificing his life for others, he is more than honoured. I also learnt that the huge sacrifice and suffers that occur during World War 2. It is something not many people nowadays will do. From all this experience, we must continue to help out and protect Singapore in time of needs.

Things that we need to do As Soon As possible!

18 03 2008

To all group members, we are behind the expectations according to the rubrics provided from ms joyce lee.

We need MORE comments, MORE reflections and MORE discussion. Please visit this blog regularly and give a comment or post a suggestion that you want to make. If you have any suggestions that can help to make this blog improved, please tell us in this blog.

We also need to prepare a powerpoint presentation as soon as possible, so we might as well use this blog and discuss about it. For every history lesson or project work period, if we discuss about something during the period, I will post it here. Check your work or comment before you submit it, the language portion is also another part that we need to work on.

I enjoyed the whole process except for the part when i rains. we would do a Plan B for the 2nd trip to fort siloso in case it rains again. i found that my group members are fast thinkers and managed to film at least an indoor video before we went home.
