Reflection on what was learned having to teach the class
30 03 2008From the few presenters, I have learnt that we need to talk naturally and not read from the script. When reading from script, it does not show explanation. Instead, it gives more about the facts, evidence and more information. But if we read from the information that you already know, if show a understanding for both me and the others. It also shows that you are very familiarize of what we are talking about.
We also need to talk loud because people might think that you are very nervous and not very well-prepared. Although it is alright to be a little bit nervous, but the information might be unclear. We need to talk loud because we might have very important information to share but others can’t hear it and it is also a waste of time if we keep repeating our self.
Last of all, we need to be well-prepared by asking our self. If we were the audience, what questions will we asked. From there we can make some question for us to ask them if they did not ask us. This is to train us in times of need if someone asked us a hard question and we have some form of answer to tell them.
Thanks for posting this reflection!
I had asked nicholas to come up with answers in case our classmates ask us questions and we are prepared.
