On the first trip to Fort Siloso, it was raining heavily and we couldn’t do anything, as we didn’t have a back-up plan. On the second trip, there weren’t enough video cameras so some groups have to share cameras, and we were one of them. Since we had to share the cameras, I guess there wasn’t as much time. Overall, I feel that we should have a backup in everything we do , in case something unexpected happens.
On Other Groups Presentation and overall reflections:
Basically, the main problem is that people will tend to look at their script, or the presentation slides when presenting. I feel that in order to prevent that, we should make summarise more about the topic and make each slide short and which can be easy to understand. By doing this, we would be able to maintain eye contact with the audience. We should project our voice further as some people would not be able to hear us. We should also try to explain clearly, and show some examples so that it would be easier to understand. I am sorry that I didn’t contribute or participate actively in this project. Overall, I think that I should voice out my opinions and thoughts as well as help my group members when they are in need. I should also contribute in other ways.
Sunarsih: As the leader, I would like to thank all the group members in participating in the project. Everything went on smoothly. Thank YOU(:

Julia: Alot of people had sacrificed their life in the WW2. Some of them were called heroes of the heroes. They were either armies or famous. Most commonn are Elizabeth Choy and Lim Bo Seng. Among all heroes, G3 Production decided to choose Lieutenant Adnan Bin Saidi.
[Scene go blank]
Julia: Lieutenant Adnan Bin Saidi. Fought with the Malay Regiment against the Japanese. His words, ‘Death Before Dishonour’ had given him and Malay Regiment high spirits to fight. Although they were out of bullets and bombs, he did not give up. They still fought with their hands.
[scene go blank]
Derek and Nicholas walk out of Tunnel and walks towards the tree. Rope is ready to hang nicholas.
Julia: Lieutenant Adnan Bin Saidi was caught and hanged on a tree. The Japanese left him hanging there in a rice sack and tortured him. Soon after, he died.
[interview]
Julia: Lieutnant Adnan bin Saidi. A man with honours that we should be proud of. [smile]
This picture of the Men of the Malay Regiment, recruited from local native volunteers, at bayonet practice on Singapore Island, October 1941.
What does this picture tells you why the malay regiment and adnan bin saidi had a fierce fight against the japanese at bukit chandu?
From the picture,we can infer that the soldiers of the Malay Regiment are mainly made up of volunteers.I know this as the caption under the picture said that “the Men of the Malay Regiment, recruited from local native volunteers were recruited from local native volunteers.” This tells me that the regiment is strong as the men that forms up the regiment were volunteers as they want to protect their own country. This explains why the Malay Regiment had a fierce battle against the Japanese and refuse to give up till the very end.
Also, the picture shows the soldiers from malay regiment praticising. This shows that the soldiers are keen to defence their own country. We can also see that the Soldiers of the malay regiment are very united and have a strong team spirit. We know this as the picture show them practising TOGETHER.
