Decision on scripts (Case Closed)

The biding for your scripts are closed. This scripts are done in random orders.
Sunarsih will start first with a intro

I will continue it with our documentary and elaborate about the scene in the documentary. 

Kang Ling will then talk about the re-enactment of the Japanese soldiers hanging lt. adnan

Wei Hoon will do the roles and responsibility that we are given.

Carry on with a special ‘conversation’ on the problems and solutions.

Julia will end the presentation with our reflections.

And wala.. WE ARE DONE..

Checklist of what we had done for the presentation

1. All scripts, storyboards, photos etc should be posted with everyone’s comments on how these
answer the project task question you have been assigned (You MAY choose to extract certain quality postings/responses to showcase during your presentation)

2. The actual movie/documentary and photo journal can be displayed.(Checked)

3. You should also post blog entries discussing the oral presentation and how you would organise it
to make it interesting for the audience. Your oral presentation should address the following
processes:

a) What’s your project question /task and what is your understanding of this question? How have you
managed to answer this project question through the project research and work you have done?

b) What were the roles and responsibilities of each member and what was done to ensure that
everyone contributed? What problems were encountered and how did you solve these as a group? (CHECKED)

c) Explain your concept of the documentary and how does this documentary answer the project task
focus or question.  

Explain clearly why you have chosen to present the documentary in this way ,
explain the ideas behind the way you plan the storyboard, the different scenes and why certain
scenes are chosen and what you intend to show with these ( include details abt camera angles/shot
types, music, narration text, sequence of scenes, focus of video and what is the message you wish to
communicate).  The same questions can be applied for the photo journal.

d) Reflection on Learning – must be specific in terms of what skills esp thinking skills, analysis skills,
planning skills, team management skills, visual skills, history skills, language related like writing
skills, presenting information etc (CHECKED)

Draft 2 of the sequence of our presentation

This will be the sequence of our presentation if everything goes well and there’s no objection.

1) Powerpoint slides:

  • Introduction of the task we are been set/question we are answering.
  • Problems we had encountered and how we solve them.
  • Roles allocation for pw and documentary. Present on our own roles.
  • Start story of process. ( Brief intro of how we show the process of our question.)
  • Talk about documentary.(Part by part.)
  • Back to powerpoint slides
  • present on why we didn’t choose elizabeth choy or other heroes in our documentary. 
  • Introduction about Adnan Bin saidi(mindmap.)(short part only.)
  • Reflections, group and individual.

Things to take note of:

 When presenting

  • try not to read from script. (try to read one or two sentences before reading out loud to the audience)
  • When explaining scene selection, please remind the person that is controlling the video to stop on the scene.
  • Must be loud and clear.(how you speak or present are counted as your individual marks.)
