For the presentation on friday, we need to divide our parts…
I’ll do qn b as told in the contents that is found at our class blog, which is:
” b) What were the roles and responsibilities of each member and what was done to ensure that everyone contributed? What problems were encountered and how did you solve these as a group? ”
We need to include some of the reflections that we had done, in group and individual. Kangling had just posted a new reflection and we can use that.

I think that this shows a image of what their houses look like in Maycomb because in chapter 1, they mention that neighbours know each other. This means that their houses are nearby and are able to communicate easily. So this describe the scenario of the buildings during 1930s.

We choose this picture as we thought that it fits the settings for the story. For example, there are houses besides Scout’s house as told in “To Kill A Mocking Bird”.
Besides that, it looks old as we know it from page 5, second paragraph. ” Maycomb was an old town, but it was a tired old town when I first knew it.”
Also, the characters houses are just a few doors away from each other. The picture describe the settings of the novel well as the houses that the characters live in all have land around them.

I got this picture with the impression of a old fashioned town from the book. The cars are also from 1930s where the book’s setting is created. The amount of people at the town also fits the size of the population of Maycomb town.

Tomorrow is the due date for our English project,we need to post everything that we had done so far as soon as possible.
However, derek might not be able to post his mind map as his internet connection is down. But he had done his mindmap already. I suggest that he post them tomorrow in school at the school library and that we or should inform Miss Lim about it.
Nicholas might not be able to post till chapter 5 as his uncle is being admitted to hospital. However, he posted a comment, stating that he would try his best to finish the character tracking of the characters till chapter 5.
So far, the rest of us had done our job, just that we need to answer the questions posted by the questioner as soon as possible. ( every group member except for the questioner herself. ) I hope we can get things done by tomorrow!

Scout- She is a girl that have a fighting personality and is usually very direct in her speech. She judges people fairly with Atticus’s help and she learnt how to write from him too
Jem-He is the brother of Scout. He is a person with pride and do not like other people to mock him. At the beggining, he was a rash person and acted without thinking but he turned out to be more caring and mature at the later chapters.
Atticus- He seems to be a very wise person and gives advice to his children. He has a strong sense of judgement and proves himself not to be a biased person when he fought a case for a ‘black man’ .
Calpurnia-She is a caring woman but she made herself a very fierce person to Scout and Jem as she lectures them nearly everyday and wins because Atticus is always on her side.
Boo Radley-He is a very mysterious person as he lacks communication with other people and have scary rumours of him circulating around the area. He rarely come out of his house.
